About the relay

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay is the ultimate corporate teambuilding event.

With team competition, employee wellbeing and local community support at the heart of the event, this is an unforgettable race experience.

Taking place in the heart of 13 of the most vibrant financial cities all across the world, this event uses the power of sport and physical activity to address social challenges in each race city, with charity projects that deliver lasting positive social impact through The Extra Mile programme.

Teams of 10 runners each take on the challenge of running a one-mile lap through the heart of each city’s financial district, followed by complimentary hospitality and after-party celebrations in the Race Village.

The Extra Mile helps participants of the Bloomberg Square Mile Relay, and users within the Square Mile Club community to contribute to their city in a meaningful way.

Every mile run at each race will contribute towards a USD$30,000 donation to a local charity partner in each city.

Kudos to the Square Mile Relay team for organising the inaugural edition of the race in India (Mumbai). It was a very professionally managed event and delivered everything what a corporate runner would look forward to.
